Georg Milde is a seasoned industrial designer, earning honors from the University of Applied Arts in Vienna. He began his career at Arçelik in Istanbul, later contributing to the success of Grundig in Nuremberg. Transitioning into education, Georg served as a lecturer at institutions like the Bauhaus-Universität Weimar after being an artistic-scientific collaborator at OZH Regensburg. Sinde 2015, as the founder of "Designreserve", Georg specializes in product and interface design for both cosumer and industrial sectors.
This workshop is a hands-on exploration of design basics and their practical applications. We'll kick of by examining everyday objects and getting a grip on the essential principles of the design process. Moving forward, participants will dive into complex societal issues, applying the learned design methods to address challenging problems. The workshop concludes with group presentations showcasing solution approaches, emphasizing creativity and empathy. It's a practical experience to help participants understand the ins and outs of design process.
